After meeting, marrying and almost a decade of working together at another practice, Joel & Jess Zauss launched Zauss House. We were able to combine our vast industry experience to offer a holistic design service.

About Joel Zauss

Joel has an extensive background in the design & building industry completing his carpentry apprenticeship at a young age. He then went on to work for some of the Sunshine Coast’s leading building design practices. Joel has held longstanding roles in office management & senior drafting positions before stepping out to get his own building design licence in 2016. During this time he has worked on well over 100 residential projects throughout Australia and is familiar with the design process requirements unique to many areas.

About Jess Zauss

Jess met Joel after completing diplomas in both Interior Technology & Sustainability. She has also held a longstanding role of Senior Interior Designer and 3D Artist specialising in 3D renders, joinery design and interior documentation.

The collaboration of our skill sets has allowed us to provide a comprehensive scope of services. All of these design services are provided in-house by us, we do not outsource to any third parties. We pride ourselves on offering a personalised design service where you are always dealing directly with the Designer so you know your house design is in good hands.

We are based in Noosa on the Sunshine Coast but we offer many of our design services Australia wide. With over 16 years in the design industry you can count on us to create your dream home.
